On Saturday May 16th I will be talking about wedding dresses at Worthing Museum from 10.30 -12 noon.
Worthing Museum has a fine collection of wedding dresses, veils, headdresses and wedding favours. This illustrated talk looking at the history of weddings offers the chance to see and handle items from the collection, including an 1880’s bustle dress and a 1920’s beaded dress. Boxes of wedding photos and wedding day home movies from Screen Archive South East will also be available to view.
Please bring your own wedding memorabilia, photographs and stories to share.
